National Defence Academy Exam – NDA result 2021 will be released by the UPSC, the conducting body of the exam. The written test of NDA I will be held on April 18, 2021, and the result is expected to be issued in the month of June 2021.

How to Check NDA Result 2021?

To check the NDA result 2021, candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the UPSC Official website and on the home page, click on the result link.

Step 2: On the display, the NDA Result 2021 will appear.

Step 3: Enter Ctrl + F and enter your registration number. If the registration number appears, this means candidates have qualified the exam.

Step 4: Download the NDA result for future reference.

NDA Scorecard 2021

The scorecards of qualified candidates will be released within 10 – 15 days after the declaration date of NDA result 2021. The scorecards must be downloaded within 30 days. Candidates must remember that the mark sheet will not be sent to the individual students via post or courier.

How to Download the NDA Scorecard?

The candidates, who qualify the written exam, will be able to download the NDA scorecard. Here are the steps to download the scorecard:

  1. Visit the official website and click on the “Examination” tab and select “Marks Information”
  2. The available scorecards for various examinations are displayed. Click on the link to NDA 2021.
  3. Log in with your credentials i.e. registration number and password.
  4. Enter login details to access the NDA 2021 Scorecard.

How to calculate NDA Score?

After the written exam, with a span of 15 days, the answer key will be released on the official website. Candidates can use the answer keys and calculate the marks for each paper according to the marking scheme to determine the marks you are likely to obtain.

  • In General Ability Test (GAT), candidates get four marks for correct answers
  • In the Mathematics section, for correct answers candidates scores 2.5 marks
  • For wrong answers, 0.33 marks are deducted.

Stages of NDA Result 2021

  • The NDA exam is conducted in 2 stages – written test and SSB interview.
  • The result will be released in 2 stages as well – once after the written exam and the final result after the SSB interview.
  • The qualified candidates will appear in the SSB Interview.
  • NDA final result is declared after the completion of the SSB Interview.
  • The qualified candidates will be selected to join the academy based on their performance

Tie-Breaking Policy

When two or more candidates secure equal aggregate marks in the NDA 2021 exam, the ties are resolved as per age which means candidates older in age will be given preference.

What After Declaration of NDA Result 2021

Once a candidate qualifies for the written exam of NDA selection process, they are called for the SSB Interview round. The commission will release a separate call letter for the interview round.

Candidates must log on to the website of the Army, Navy or Air Force after qualifying for the written exam to get the interview schedule and venue. For the interview round, candidates have to carry certain documents with them for verification such as:

  • Matriculation certificate or its equivalent examination certificate.
  • Original age certificate.

NDA Answer keys

The answer key is published by UPSC after the declaration of the final results. The candidates can check the correct answers and also calculate the score of their written test.

The answer key is made available for sets of test booklets – A, B, C, and D in PDF form. Candidates will be able to calculate the probable score of the exam with the help of the answer keys.

NDA Cutoff 2021

The NDA 2021 cutoff marks will be declared by the UPSC after the final results are published. The facts that affect the cutoff marks each year are the number of vacancies, the number of appeared candidates, the competition level, and the level of difficulty of the questions in the written exam.

Candidates must note that the sectional cutoff of a minimum of 35% marks to qualify for final cutoff marks which means a candidate has to score a minimum of 105 marks in the mathematics section. A total of 210 marks in the General Ability Section must be secured to be able to qualify for the overall cut-off.
