NDA Pune Courses
NDA Pune offers full-time residential undergraduate programme in fields of Science and Humanities. The Science stream gives option of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science while Arts stream gives option of studying History, Political Science, Geography, Economics and foreign languages.
Apart from two-year BA and BSc, the academy also offers three-year BTech degree which is offered in four different specialisations namely Computer, ECE, Mechanical and IT. Tabulated below is the detail of the same.

The Army cadets can choose one degree among the three. However, BTech is compulsory for Air Force and Navy candidates.

NDA Pune Admissions
Admission to NDA Pune is invited through NDA entrance exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year. The exam is held twice every year, one each in April and September.
The candidates who clear the exam are called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. The SSB interview is extensive process and tests the general aptitude, psychological testing, team skills as well as social and physical skills.
The age eligibility of candidates should be minimum of 16 years and 6 months and a maximum of 19 years and 6 months.

NDA Pune Placements
After successfully completing the course from NDA, the candidates are recruited in the three military forces of India. They are sent for respective trainings of one year before granting of commission: Army cadets go to IMA Dehradun, Air Force candidates go to Air Force Academy at Dindigul, Hyderabad and Navy cadets go to Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala, Kerala.
The initial salary of cadets after completion of their respective course ranges from Rs 56,000 to Rs 1,77,000. Tabulated below is the salary overview in Indian Armed Forces:

Besides the salary given to cadets, there are other allowances like High Altitude, Insurance, Vehicle, Kit maintenance allowance and others that they recieve.
NDA Pune Scholarships
NDA Pune also provides certain scholarships to the meritorious students. These scholarships are:

NDA Pune Infrastructure
NDA has a vast campus spread over 28 km which includes classrooms, library, training ground, mess, hostel, indoor and outdoor sports areas, dance studio, leisure space, medical facilities, etc. Given below are some of the highlighted facilities:
- Library: The library that was established in 1955 that houses a rare collection of books and journals, including some foreign journals. It has over 85,000 titles and has also access to about 97,000 e-books and 6,000 e-journals. Books from History, Geography, Economics, Polity, Science and Technology, etc., are available here.
- Hostel: All the degree offered by NDA Pune is residential that means students have to live in the college premises till the time of their course completition. Students are given one separate room each and there are all the facilities like mess, laundry, canteen, etc., inside the premises.
- Labs: The academic block encloses Physics, Chemistry and Computer labs for imparting of better knowledge when it comes to Science subjects. These laboratories are up-to-dated and equipped with modern technology.
- Sports: Various cadets of NDA play at international level and represent the country and these cadets are trained at the academy sports ground built over vast acres. The sports facilities include all the outdoor and indoor sports, including dance and yoga studio and gymnasium hall.
- Auditorium: Habibullah Hall, named in honour of first commandant of NDA, is a double-storey building with seating capacity of 1,700 students. It hosts events such as presentation, lectures, musical events, dance competition, entertainment program, etc.
